Facebook Paid Version May Likely Be Introduced

The day may likely come when you will have the Facebook paid version alongside the free version.

Facebook Inc. Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg, is testifying today before the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, answering questions from 44 Senators about Facebook’s data managing practices, the Cambridge Analytica scandal and the use of its platform by foreign groups attempting to influence US elections.

During his questioning, on whether Facebook will always be free for users and supported by ads, Zuckerberg appeared to leave the way open for a paid version.

Zuckerberg then responded that a version of Facebook would always be free, leaving open the interpretation that the platform could one day charge a fee.

Meaning sooner or later, Paid or Premium version of Facebook will be available alongside the free version. And be rest assured that premium version of Facebook won’t contain any ads.

Facebook now add face recognition technology feature on its app to track impostors

Facebook protects and takes everyone’s privacy very serious to the extent of rolling out face recognition technology feature to track impostors.

The feature was first announced in December but was fully integrated on February, 2018. Those who logged onto Facebook on Tuesday could attest to the fact that Facebook notifies them on their News Feed of the firm’s new facial recognition technology.

The face recognition technology feature will help you find photos you are in but haven’t been tagged, it will help you protect you from strangers using your photos and it will tell people with visual impairments who is in your photo or video.

However, you can control the face recognition technology. The setting is on, but you can turn it off at any time.

This feature is really needed to keep off those who might have been using your photos for fraudulent activities and imposters on Facebook. What’s your say?

WhatsApp Soon To Be Blessed With Siri Support

From what we are seeing, there is not much doubt that soon we will be able to enjoy Siri on WhatsApp. This means we will be able to enjoy the services of Siri as to reading and sending WhatsApp messages even up to making WhatsApp calls on iOS devices. This development is gotten from a leak – which unveils an explanation text given to users when prompted to give WhatsApp access to Siri.

Siri is Apple’s famous voice-controlled digital assistant. So far so good, Siri has recorded a juicy bout of improvement of late. This remarkable digital assistant can well fill in all kinds of tasks from making phone calls, to sending and reading messages.

Yet there was the sad restriction of its services as they were exclusively available to only a handful number of third party apps of which WhatsApp wasn’t included , that stands to change now. This change is most likely to come after the release of the iOS 10. The iOS 10 has the refreshing promise of integrating virtual assistant with third-party apps.

Though for now, we have not received any official confirmation from WhatsApp getting Siri support. But this doesn’t in any way annul the validity of the report.

You will remember that since WhatsApp acquisition by Facebook, WhatsApp has made notable development, ranging from end to end encryption the most recent voicemail feature, and of course we stand to see much more from WhatsApp in the shortest time!
