Facebook now add face recognition technology feature on its app to track impostors

Facebook protects and takes everyone’s privacy very serious to the extent of rolling out face recognition technology feature to track impostors.

The feature was first announced in December but was fully integrated on February, 2018. Those who logged onto Facebook on Tuesday could attest to the fact that Facebook notifies them on their News Feed of the firm’s new facial recognition technology.

The face recognition technology feature will help you find photos you are in but haven’t been tagged, it will help you protect you from strangers using your photos and it will tell people with visual impairments who is in your photo or video.

However, you can control the face recognition technology. The setting is on, but you can turn it off at any time.

This feature is really needed to keep off those who might have been using your photos for fraudulent activities and imposters on Facebook. What’s your say?
