The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed that it has invited Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for questioning. This was revealed in a statement released on Wednesday night by the service's spokesperson, Dr. Peter Afunanya. According to the statement, Bawa arrived at the DSS headquarters a few hours ago and was cooperating with the investigators.”
“The DSS did not disclose the reason for the invitation, but said it was related to some investigative activities concerning Bawa, who was suspended from his position as the EFCC boss last week over allegations of corruption and abuse of office.”
