Arsenal moved to within two points of leaders Leicester City with a 2-1 win over Manchester City at the Emirates.
Theo Walcott opened the scoring for the Gunners, cutting in from the left and curling a superb strike into the top corner from fully 20 yards after 33 minutes.
Olivier Giroud then doubled the lead just before half-time, Mesut Ozil again the creator crossing low for the striker to squeeze the ball between Joe Hart’s legs.
The visitors improved after the break, but could not find a way past Petr Cech until the 82nd minute, Yaya Toure giving them a lifeline, yet Arsenal withstood a late barrage to take all three points
