HOW TO TWEAK OR CHANGE IMEL NUMBER IN YOUR ANDROID PHONE

Earlier before now, most people have reached out to me asking how they can change their android phone IMEL, but because I haven't really tried the process before now nor written about it on this blog, I simply direct them to do a research using search engine.

Last night, I was browsing the net and I saw a post were the dude share this article of changing your IMEL using MTK app. So I decided to get busy with changing the IMEL on my android phone and it worked out fine. The process is pretty simple and easy.

How to tweak IMEL

Download MTK Engineering here or search it on google play.

Lets go to the process

Step 1:
Open your MTK Engineering you download and click/select MTK settings>> navigate left to connectivity >> on the connectivity panel, select CDS information.

Step 2:
Scroll down to CDS in formation and click Radio information. If your phone is dual sim, two options will be shown which are:
Phone 1.
Phone 2.
If you want to change the sim 1 IMEL, choose phone 1 and if you want to change the sim 2 IMEL, choose phone 2.

Step 3:
When you select any of phone 1 or phone 2 you'll find AT+ at the top.
Now add this command to it: AT+EGMR=1,10"the generated imel number" and press send at command.

Step 4:
After the above steps, restart your phone or go to flight mode and deactivate flight mode.
