Video: Arsenal 4-1 Liverpool (premier League)

Three goals in the space of nine minutes just before half-time put the host clear in front at the Emirates Stadium, the Reds having Emre Can sent off a consolation penalty.

Arsenal dealt Liverpool's hopes of a top four finish a savage blow as a whirlwind of goals shortly before halftime set them up for a 4-1 victory at Emirates Stadium.
A free kick from Mesut Ozil compounded the Red's troubles just three minutes later and Alexis Sanchez's powerful finish to a stick team move moments before the break lest Liverpool crippled.

The visitors got one back in the second half when Jordan Henderson scored from the penalty spot, Reheem Sterling having been brought down by Bellerin, but they could not push on to save the match.
